Sérignan is one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in the Hérault department. Its tourist vocation is not new. It has always been a highly attractive destination, thanks to its exceptional cultural heritage.
Sérignan’s heritage is rich and diverse. It includes historic monuments such as churches, castles, old houses and many others. As for tourist attractions, the commune boasts a large number of them.

Heading towards the port, you’ll be free to horseback ride, walk or cycle between vineyards and sand dunes. With the Orb River flowing into the Mediterranean, there’s plenty of time for water sports on the river or in the sea.
Finally, book a hike in the Natura 2000 reserve of Les Orpellières, where the flora and fauna are particularly well preserved.

in Sérignan
A historic town, Sérignan is a beautiful place with many places to discover. Go for a stroll and discover the charming little streets and various events. Don’t miss the splendid plain fertilized by the Orb floods.
- The collegiate church of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce: listed as a historic monument on December 16, 1907, the collegiate church of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce is a Gothic-style church. In fact, it belonged to the Abbey of Saint-Thibéry and was built over several centuries.
- Rue Saint-Roch or Carriéra de Saint-Roch: This street is full of houses with old facades.
- Château de Sérignan: Château Vargoz de Serignan was a landmark in the history of the commune. It evolved from family to family before becoming an artists’ residence, which welcomes visitors.
- Pont Rouge: Built in 1851, this was the commune’s first suspension bridge, with a span of over 80 metres.
- La passejade del Crès (Roman history): The town of Sérignan boasts a number of hiking trails. There are many different types of hiking, horse-riding and cycling available. The Passejade del Crès is one of the many trails you’ll want to try out during your stay. Departing from Sérignan, it’s a circuit of almost 15 km (4 hours). You’ll discover the town and its Roman past. You’ll also have a splendid view of the vineyards, the sea and the town’s architectural and cultural heritage.
Visit the Sérignan marina
Sérignan’s marina, located at themouth of the River Orb, is one of the town’s most popular spots. Thanks to its location to the west of Cap d’Agde, it enjoys a panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea.
The port of Sérignan can accommodate 320 boats year-round, and 80 seasonal berths, making it a popular meeting point for sailors along the Côte d’Azur. The port of Sérignan benefits from 24-hour surveillance, guaranteeing peace of mind for yachtsmen.
This Sérignan harbor also features free parking, access to sanitary facilities and a water and electricity supply.

Avec ses 5 km de sable, le bord de mer de Sérignan et ses plages permettent aux amateurs de baignades de profiter de deux grandes plages principales à l’atmosphère intimiste. D’abord la Grande Maïre du côté de Portiragnes qui débouche sur l’étang de la Maïre. Cette plage de Sérignan dispose de quelques installations, succinctes, mais essentielles pour le confort des visiteurs : restauration, poste de secours, sanitaires et accès PMR. Puis son opposé géographique, les Orpellières, une étendue de sable et de dunes sauvages qui combleront les amoureux de nature et de marche. Cette autre plage borde la réserve naturelle des Orpellières. Pas d’infrastructures sur celle-ci, mais un poste de surveillance en été. Au milieu de ces deux plages à Sérignan, un espace naturiste et quelques petites plages (la Chapelle et la Séoune). Lors de votre séjour dans notre camping à Sérignan Plage vous trouverez 5 plages au total que voici (de l’est à l’ouest) : La plage de la Grande Maïre / La plage de la Chapelle / La plage de la Séoune / La plage Naturiste / La plage des Orpellières.

A walk in the heart of the Orpellières
Located at the mouth of the Orb river, the Domaine des Orpellières is also a must-see. Situated between Valras Plage and Sérignan, it’s a natural area of over 150 hectares, ideal for discovering exceptional flora and fauna.
In the heart of Les Orpellières, nature alone rules. What’s more, it’s a special place thanks to its landscape made up of a dry dune belt and a wet, salty environment. The hiking trail takes you along the banks of the Orb and along the dune beaches of Sérignan to discover this Natura 2000 reserve.

The city boasts numerous cycle paths that are ideal for cycling. So while you’re exercising on your bike, you can also discover the city’s tourist attractions.

Vineyards and wine from Sérignan
